Physiotherapy in Osoyoos, BC
Osoyoos Physiotherapy & Allied Health is the physio team on 78th Avenue. Whether it is a sore back, a stiff shoulder or an injury that is taking too long to heal, we find out what is behind it and build a plan that gets you back to work, sport and the things you enjoy.
One-on-One Physiotherapy in Osoyoos
Your first visit is a full assessment. We ask about your symptoms, your health history and what you want to get back to, then look at how you move, where you are strong and where you are not. Before you leave, you will know what we found and what the plan looks like.
Our Osoyoos physiotherapists combine manual therapy, exercise and education, with acupuncture and dry needling available when they suit your condition. Lead physiotherapist Kay-Ann Robinson also has training in pelvic floor rehabilitation and Pilates-based rehab.

What Our Osoyoos Patients Say
Osoyoos Physiotherapy FAQs
Do I need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist in Osoyoos?
No. In BC you can book with a physiotherapist directly, online or by calling 250-495-2225. Some extended health plans ask for a referral before they reimburse you, so check your plan if you are not sure.
Is physiotherapy covered by insurance?
Most extended health plans cover physiotherapy, and we direct bill many of them. If you were hurt in a car accident or at work, ICBC or WorkSafeBC may cover your treatment. MSP only helps with a limited number of visits for people on premium assistance.
What happens at my first physiotherapy appointment?
We talk through your symptoms, history and goals, then assess your movement, strength and flexibility. Treatment usually starts at that first visit, and you leave with a few exercises to start at home. Wear clothing you can move in.
Do you offer acupuncture and dry needling?
Yes. Several of our physiotherapists are trained in acupuncture and dry needling. If it suits your condition, your physio will explain how it works before adding it to your plan, and you can always choose a different option.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on your injury, how long you have had it and what you want to get back to. After your assessment, your physiotherapist will give you a realistic estimate and check your progress along the way.
Do you treat patients from outside Osoyoos?
Yes. Patients come to us from Osoyoos, Cawston, Rock Creek and across the South Okanagan, along with visitors and seasonal residents. If you get hurt while you are in town, give us a call.
